Myles Brumbach

Hi my name is Myles, I am an 18yr old climber from Bozeman MT. I am a senior in high school at the World Class Climbing Academy. I grew up in Bozeman and have been climbing since I was 8. Originally, I was primarily a comp climber and competed with the Bozeman Climbing Team until I was a junior in high school. In my junior year, I spent traveling and climbing in Spain, Turkey and Italy with my family in the fall and the climbing academy in the spring. This year, I have spent entirely with the Climbing Academy (TCA), climbing in South Africa, Greece, Spain, and Australia. I feel pretty damn lucky to be able to spend my high school years in such an incredible way, climbing, traveling and exploring around the world. I will always be grateful that I was fortunate enough to have the support from my family to attend the climbing academy. I am also so grateful to the TCA community for everything.

After graduating this spring, I plan to work, explore, and climb on some remaining Montana projects in Montana this summer. In the fall, I'm planning on spending some time living out of my car between western U.S. bouldering areas. I will spend the majority of my time in Bishop, Red Rocks, Joes Valley, and possibly some time in the infamous Yosemite Valley.

I’m so stoked to keep exploring, climbing and traveling. I don’t entirely know what the next few years will look like yet but for now, I’m just stoked to be free from school responsibilities to climb more and explore. Possibly college at MSU later on…. Or maybe routesetting.
